Beth still has the Ouija board she used to conjur spirits with as a child. While they were in Austin, she and her sister consulted with Ouija in the Driskill Hotel. They asked the spirit whether it really was true that Beth had hopped a freight train with Jenni in Ann Arbor in 1975 (a memory of Jenni's that Beth doesn't recall). Ouija said yes, but gave the year as 1977, which couldn't have been. So Beth is still not convinced.

Beth and Jenni later learned that there is supposedly a ghost bride in the old hotel, who wanders the halls in her wedding gown, carrying the gun she shot herself with after her lover jilted her. |
