Celebrating Strangers

Beth is never bored if there are people to watch, and downtown Austin was a perfect venue. Striking up a conversation with a stranger comes naturally in that friendly Texas town.

When Beth, Jenni, and their mom were having breakfast on the porch of the Driskill Hotel, they were serenaded by a couple of Dell Computer employees on a team-building "Great American Race." They sang "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones for their boss.

When they were done, Beth made a point of letting them know how much she appreciated the entertainment.
