Kate and I started our trip with a drive to Anacortes, Washington. We left our car behind and hopped a ferry to Sidney, B.C., where Claire and Marsha were docked at the marina.
After a quick load-up, we hit the seas, headed for Tod Inlet, a small cove just around the corner from Butchart Gardens.
