Bev became a mother on August 10, 1957 with the birth of her daughter, Katherine Eileen. She was living on an Air Force base in Japan at the time, without the benefit of family and friends.
She managed quite well, though, and devoted her energies to her daughter.
By the time Marc David was born (December 12, 1958), they'd moved back to the states.
With two kids 16 months apart and a full-time job, Bev had her hands full. But she managed to be an active part of her children's lives, helping out with Girl
Scouts and Cub Scouts.
